I offer specialist antique clock restoration services in Tuffley, treating each timepiece with care and precision. Every repair starts with the careful removal of the clock movement from its case, followed by a detailed inspection of all parts. Worn or damaged components are meticulously cleaned using fine solvents and an ultrasonic bath before restoration begins.
Pivot holes are resized or corrected, pallet faces or pivots are refinished or replaced as needed, and mainsprings are cleaned or renewed. Every moving part is precision-oiled to ensure smooth, reliable operation.
After reassembly, clocks are carefully timed and tested through multiple stages before re-casing. I only release clocks from my Tuffley workshop once I am completely confident in their accuracy and performance.
